Finally, I utter the magic words: “Schedule shutdown, complete.”

You see, by taking the time to wrap up the workday in a deliberate manner, I’m able to effectively “turn off” my work brain and transition into a more relaxed state of being. No more worrying about that pesky client request or that delivery that didn’t quite go as planned. Nope, when I say “schedule shutdown, complete,” it’s like I’ve flipped a switch, and all those work-related thoughts and anxieties are banished from my mind.
